The hyperlink on this page will take readers to a website created by Richard Mariconda, Library Director of the Wanaque Borough Free Public Library, with the input of many local historians, whose work through the years and sharing of priceless archival photographs give the Site its present value. Wanaque Area Local History was built with funds from the Technology Bond Fund administered by the New Jersey State Library. It is non-partisan, and as such, is not directly related to any particular political party, except in as much as the people of the Wanaque area have made its history what it is.
